Armet relies on taste, the experience and imagination of the architect Aldo Cibic for the design of the SENSO line.

An internationally renowned architect and designer, Aldo Cibic moved to Milan in 1979 to work with Ettore Sottsass, becoming his partner the following year. In 1980, under Sottsass’s direction, the Memphis movement was born, with Cibic as one of its founding designers.
In 1989, he started his own practice by founding Cibic & Partners, a studio where, alongside his personal design work — both for his own initiatives and for various companies — he developed projects in the fields of interior and architectural design, in Italy and abroad.
In 2005, he became Director of the Design Department at Fabrica, the Benetton Research Centre on Communication, with which he continues to collaborate as a consultant.
He also teaches at Domus Academy, the Design Faculty of the Politecnico di Milano, and the Industrial Design program at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, conducting research on the relationship between design and society.
In 2017, he joined forces with Lombardini22, combining their respective strengths to approach design challenges with an even broader perspective. He is Honorary Professor at Tongji University in Shanghai.
Cibic currently lives between Italy and China and, in 2019, was included by Alessandro Mendini in Domus magazine’s “100+ Best Architecture Firms 2019” guide to the world’s top architects.
